Ve 40. čísle Ekonoma vyšla příloha ICT Revue. Upoutal mě článek Trh hostovaného CRM čeká raketový růst, který se z nemalé části točí kolem CRM řešení od SAPu.
Kvůli snažší integraci CRM do podnikového systému bude mít SAP (a obdobně třeba také Oracle) u velkých firem vždycky výhodu.
A ja říkám, že nebude. Informační systémy se obnovují v cyklech. Ve chvíli, kdy firmy začnou obnovovat své ERP řešení a to se za několik málo let stane v každé firmě, tak se bude rozšiřovat užívání ERP jako služby.
Výhoda ze snadné integrace by dodavatelům jako jsou SAP a Oracle zmizela, protože firmy dodávající SaaS spolu navzájem spolupracují na snadné integraci a není vyloučeno, že třeba na Appexchange vznikne nějaká ERP aplikace.
Aby SAP a Oracle byli stále v takové výhodě, v jaké jsou nyní, tak budou muset své služby hodně přizpůsobit požadavkům trhu a ten se stále více odklání od vlastněného software.

tohle je samozrejme otazka odhadu budouciho vyvoje. ja si myslim, ze kdyz jde o velke firmy, tak v dohledne budoucnosti se masovy odklon od “vlastneneho SW” neda cekat. tedy - u klasickych komponent IS. pokud budou velke firmy vyuzivat SaaS, tak podle me “jenom” u specializovanych aplikaci. ty uvozovky jsem napsal proto, ze si myslim, ze prave tyto aplikace budou tvorit cim dal vetsi cast podnikovych IS - a rozhodujici cast jejich pripadne konkurencni vyhody.

Toto je docela zajimava myslenka. Nicmene problem specializovanych aplikaci vidim v tom, ze to je pouze trzni nika. Je asi dost slozite, se zivit pouze na nich, i kdyz globalni dosah SaaS to muze zjednodusit. Souhlasim, ze budou vznikat specializovane aplikace jako sluzba, ale ty budou asi primarne postavene k nejake vetsi soucasti firemniho IS. Neco jako je nyni v pripade Salesforce.com platfroma AppExchange, kde je mnoho partneru dodavajicich rozsireni jejich CRM.
Myslim, ze i u velkych firem bude odklon k SaaS, protoze jejich IT je pro ne nesmirne narocne na udrzbu. Uvest vsechny dalsi duvody pro a proti by bylo asi na dlouho a je to na analyze kazde konkretni spolecnosti, ale uvedu aspon jeden duvod pro. Kdyz treba firma ma kazdou pobocku nekde jinde (jina zeme), s SaaS bude porad fungovat na stejne verzi systemu, aniz by musela slozite ridit upgrady nebo treba cekat, az bude upgrade pro vsechny jazyky atd.
